Berrien Springs Dam and Fish Ladder

One of the favorite fishing sites along the St. Joseph River. Recent major modifications to the dam include a fish ladder that allows salmon and steelhead to migrate upstream in the fall; return to Lake Michigan in the spring.

Directions:
I-94 Exit 16, Red Arrow Hwy north 1 mile, then east 7.5 miles on Lake St/Shawnee Rd, then south 1.3 miles on Burgoyne Rd, then east to Oronoko Lakes Campground.
